As musician Manveer Singh’s sight deteriorated due to a degenerative disorder, he found that the ten minute walk from New Street Station to the Birmingham Conservatoire increasingly became an aural adventure, as a bewildering array of noises, languages and accents came to the forefront.

He has put the experience into My Journey, an evening of unique, fresh and innovative music from the group Marva, accompanied with video projection, lighting and soundscapes which depict the route of a journey.

Using a completely remote controlled system, these visuals were created along with the lighting states live by a single operator.
