Working for National Youth Theatre of Great Britain we initially supported their ongoing project to enable performance skills with young Saudi men and women through training in devising, producing, acting and technical theatre skills. This culminated in staging a professional performance as part of a 6 week festival of arts hosted by Saudi Aramco. Over 6000 people saw the hour long devised production of "1001 Nights" during its 4 day run.
As production managers and producers, we were responsible for
- Recruiting most of the 35 strong, professional artistic team
- Managing design and build of set
- Sourcing, hiring and shipping AV not available to us in the country
- Budget, logistics and Health & Safety for the project
